Poetry Challenge

In August 1995, Andrew Wiles and Richard Taylor presented the proof of Fermat's Last Theorem to an audience of over 300 people at a 10-day conference at Boston University.

At this event, Professor Jeremy Teitelbaum of the University of Illinois issued a challenge of his own - a poetry challenge

Ranging from epic verses to little ditties, all have been composed to celebrate the long-awaited discovery of the proof to Fermat's Last Theorem. A few of them are listed below, and if you would like to join in, feel free to send your masterpieces to jeremy@uic.edu.
